I'm so proud of my parents we were actually in the car and on the road by 5 am today. We stopped in Wytheville VA for gas and breakfast. Then we stopped 4 more times before reaching Monroeville around 2 this afternoon.
Kristy had picked Aunt Linda up from work and they had Mia and Sarah. Mia has gotten SO BIG! She's talking in sentences and is so beautiful! Sarah is a few days past a month old and she's beautiful! She's tiny and perfect and I'm so so glad that we have been able to come up to see everyone.
Time goes by so fast and I just appreciate these times that we have with one another. We had yummy homemade Lasagna tonight and tomorrow the girls are hitting the outlets, whoohoo!! :)
On the way up we were listening to a CD about why to believe in the God in the Bible. It was awesome but my favorite part was this.
"I was praying that God would give me an analogy that people could really wrap their arms around. I had a vision of racks of black bowling balls and each one had white writing on the front representing the different religions of the world. On the inside of the balls was all the teachings of the religions and on the back side of all these black bowling balls was the word in white do. But in the center of all these balls was a white bowling ball that said Jesus and on the back of this ball was the word done" Chrisitanity is the only world's religion that is not about the works you do to get to heaven. Christianity is the belief that we have been saved by God's grace. The battle has already been won, we already know the outcome. We have victory and eternal life thru the death that Jesus died on the cross. He is the way the truth and the life and NO ONE comes to the Father except thru Him.
